Details:
Tournament format is a 2-man best-ball with entrants recieving 80% of their valid handicap. Teams will be placed into four flights of 10 (may vary depending on participation) and we will be paying out the top 40% of each flight.
Entry is limited to the FIRST 40 TEAMS that apply. The entry fee should accompany the entry form to be assured receiving a spot in the field, and we ask that you provide contact information as well.
Schedule of Events:
Practice rounds may be played Sunday August 14th thru Tuesday August 16th. A (1) practice round greens fee is included, however the cart rental for the practice round is not.
Tournament will be played over two days with teams flighted after the first. The number of flights and prizes will depend on the number of teams entered. A rain date of Friday August 19th is scheduled should one of the rounds be cancelled due to inclement weather.
In all cases, flighting and flight prizes will be determined by a match of cards from hole 9 working backwards. If a tie exists for the over-all championship it will be broken by playing a 'sudden death' playoff on holes 1, 9, 10 & 12 beginning 15 minutes after completion of play. The over-all champion will be determined by the low-net team 2 day total irregardless of flight.
With the tournament there will be a lunch grill on Wednesday and a dinner buffet on Thursday night. Thursday's dinner dress is informal and will be served 30 minutes after the conclusion of play.
